If the sauce is too thick add a little milk. If the sauce is too thin blend in a little flour. Bon apetit!

  • White Coating Sauce

as for white pouring sauce but using 1/2 pt / 275ml milk.

  • Onion Sauce





as for white pouring sauce but fry one finely chopped onion in margarine before adding the flour.

  • Cheese Sauce

as for white pouring sauce but add 2oz / 50g low-fat grated

cheese 2 minutes before the end of the cooking.

  • Parsley Sauce

as for white pouring sauce but add 1-2 teaspoons of chopped parsley 2 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
